Pre-season Testing 2010
We can discuss here test results, improvements of the new car(s), team(s)
Four joint test sessions will be organised before the 1st race in Bahrein.
1-3 February - Valencia
10- 13 February - Jerez
17-20 February - Jerez
25-28 February - Barcelona
It will be quite a busy month for the teams and drivers.
Adrian told me that the Force India Team is not coming to Valencia, but they will be in Silverstone. So far I did not get any confirmation or information from the Team.
Car launch date is also secret so far. If you have any information, share it with us. Thanks.

Yes, of course it is! I did not know it myself until 2007, and was as surprised as you are
I've been to many tests since then, as the entrance fee is around 10 EUR/day, and flight/hotel prices are not that expensive than during a race weekend.
E.g. Barcelona, you can go to some grandstands, which costs a fortune during the race, but not on a test. Most people stays on the main grandstand, opposite the pit, or at the last corner, where good photos can be taken.
And on the top, the cars are running all day from 9 or 10 until 5p.m.
So I would advise everybody to go to a test.

How annoying, my brother contacted FI to see if we could attend the Silverstone test, they didn't come back to him, so he got in touch with Silverstone, and they have said there aren't any Test Days there that are open to the public, I suppose it makes sense, Silverstone won't have to have the extra staff working for what would be a very small crowd, still it is a shame, because it would have been good to see!

Yes, the SStone test is not open for public or media. (only for the selected ones I believe) The tests I wrote earlier are open for public (I know they are not in the UK, but Barcelona is a nice place to go... and also Jerez... and Valencia) And hopefully the weather is better too

ha ha, if my wife was interested I would take her to Barca at the end of Feb, but I can't see her wanting to go to watch a test session!
Cheers

C'mon Dan, be clever
Told her that it would be a great opportunity for her to visit some nice shops in Barcelona (use the expressions: sales, cheap, fashion, etc.). She can have nice paela, and go for a long walk on the beach, visit lots of sights
... than you can come to the track

I was in Valencia. It was really great this time. Sunny and warm during daytime, not like last year in Portimao with tropical rainstorms and cancelled testing days.
Unfortunately the Force India team was not there. Hope it won't rain in Jerez next week, when they are testing the new car. I'm looking forward to see the new car. The official studio photos were already made, if only we can see them
I will go to Barcelona test. Anybody else?
